Rovello 18 stems from a long family tradition. Back in 1950, Pierino, the great-grandfather, offered simple cuisine linked to the local area, earning himself a well-deserved Michelin star. Years later, it was grandmother Patrizia, who had often enjoyed Pierino’s dishes, who carried on the passion for good food. Everyone remembers her mastery in choosing and combining ingredients, always of the highest quality, and the warm welcome she offered at her table: she made you want to come back even before you left!

It was her daughter Cinzia who managed to transform the passion and vast experience she had learned at home into a business: in 1988, she opened her first successful restaurant, where she became a talented and highly appreciated chef. In 2002, Cinzia embarked on a new adventure: together with her partner Gualtiero, a wine lover and connoisseur, a host with a capital “H”, she opened Rovello 18, offering refined and authentic cuisine accompanied by a rich and select wine cellar.

Michele, Cinzia’s son, was born and raised in a stimulating environment, surrounded by the enticing aromas and warmth of the stoves in the family restaurants. A determined and talented young man, he passionately chose to carry on the tradition, learning the secrets of cooking and recipes handed down from generation to generation. After gaining valuable professional experience abroad, he now proudly takes over the management of the business.
